Why Auchencairn?

Auchencairn is a Scottish Hill farm located near Closeburn, Dumfries and Galloway, in South West Scotland.

The farm had a long and historic association with my family.  This association reduced when the family sold and moved to Australia.

Over the years stories have been told about the family and the farm. These stories about the conditions on the farm, the funny things that happened and the life of family members have been recorded for posterity.

Thus the acquisition of this domain seemed a natural thing to do as we entered into the age of the internet and Virtual Space.
